“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8)

Often an overlooked field of harvest due to its rich history, sophistication, and booming economy, the European Region is a vast kaleidoscope of diverse cultures, ethnicities, and languages to be sure. But, their need for the Gospel is no less. In many respects, their need is even greater especially when you consider how reliant Europe has become on her stability and wealth. Certainly Europe has had its share of political upheaval, wars, and turbulent times, but she’s always risen from the ashes with elegance, flair, and resiliency.

On the surface, Europe appears to have no need for faith, God’s Love, or the Gospel, but nothing could be farther from the truth when you come to realize that her eastern borders are rife with conflict and political unrest. There’s a monumental refugee crisis that points to a new level of uncertainty in Europe and is indeed a moment which will define her future, and the future of the nations in which the refugees are seeking asylum.

We often group the nations within Europe under one umbrella, almost as if they’re one entity, when in reality, each country, each nation, has a unique identity. From her peoples, to her cultures, and even her languages, Europe is a melting pot all her own. When you stop to appreciate this aspect, you realize, in this vast, yet densely populated region, opportunities abound for the Gospel to be broadcast far and wide. With advancements in every industry, including technology, tourism, and trade, there’s never been a greater time to maximize our impact as an organization! We can truly leverage these advancements for the propagation of the Gospel to Europe’s 741 million citizens.

Currently, the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ has 6 missionary teams strategically embedded throughout Europe: Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Russia, and Baltic Nations. With affiliates in several other countries like Norway, Italy, and Spain.

While these teams are making tremendous strides, they are only skimming the surface of reaching those 741 million souls. With 44 nations in total, of which Europe is comprised of territories like England, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, and many more.
